On the evening of Saturday, March 29th, 2025, Winfield hosted our annual Awards Banquet. We celebrated our 60th year of providing emergency services.

Members were recognized for Fire and EMS Responses, Fire and EMS Training Hours, Standby Hours, Fundraising Hours, and many more commitments.

FF Nick Sohn was awarded the Rookie of the Year.

EMS Captain Chris Broussard was awarded Firefighter of the Year.

Past Chief Tim Legore was recognized for his three years as Fire Chief.

We also had the privilege of Maryland State Firefighters Association recognizing Winfield for 60 years of Emergency Services as well as several members of 50+ years of membership.

A special thank you to Sykesville Freedom District Fire Department for providing staffing for our engine during the banquet so we could enjoy the evening. And also thank you to our banquet committee for planning and executing a great evening.

Our volunteers put in an incredible amount of time every year, and they deserve all of the recognition they received last night.
