Hello fellow EMS/Firefighters. Just wanted to say - Beautiful website. My brother Gene Spahr was a member of Winfield until his death on July 24, 1976. Gene was proud to be a firefighter and EMS provider. I know he would be as proud as I am for the wonderful job you did on your website. I am proud to be a member of LFVC. I got my start at Winfield with Gene. We both were in an EMT class when he died suddenly. The current members of Winfield were so supportive at that time. Many of them came to the scene to help him. Those men will never be forgotten. To this day I am grateful for what they did for him.
It took me many years to continue without him, but both my son and I are now EMT's just like Gene.
Keep up the great work Winfield Firefighters and EMS!
