The Winfield Community Volunteer Fire Department is pleased to offer CPR/AED training to the public. Topics include how to identify sudden cardiac arrest, understanding the links in the chain of survival; the qualities of high performance CPR; the importance of personal safety and standard precautions; the steps to assess an unresponsive person; how to use an AED on an adult, child, or infant; how to place an unresponsive but breathing person in the recovery position; and how to recognize and provide treatment for a choking adult, child, or infant. This is a certified course through ASHI with a 2-year certification card.

Course Registration Fee

If you live in Winfield Fire Department's Service area, the course is free. If you live outside the service area, a donation of $20 is requested to cover the cost of the materials paid on the day of class with cash or check.
