As we all experienced Carroll County sustained a major winter storm starting Friday January 22nd with snow falling through Saturday night. It will take days for everyone to completely dig out but at least the snow has stopped! Volunteer crews staffed apparatus throughout the storm and responded to many calls, shoveled lots of snow, and enjoyed many meals together. We were also able to share meals with road crews from Carroll County as well as members of the national guard, both of which were crucial resources during the storm. Please be sure to stay hydrated and take breaks often while shoveling. Enjoy the pictures below. Also remember to check out our Facebook page for continuous updates on events and other happenings.
