Early this morning at 12:15 a.m. Winfield Fire Department was alerted for a vehicle fire at the intersection of Woodbine Road & Ivy Way. First arriving EMS 14-1 (C. Broussard) established command advising there was a vehicle fully involved on Ivy Way with exposures and requested an additional engine. Engine 142 arrived and the crew quickly went to work extinguishing the fire and stopping the fire from extending further on the property and fence line. Paramedic 149 evaluated the driver of the vehicle that was occupying it at the time it caught fire but escaped uninjured. Howard Engine 41 was placed in service prior to arrival.
