On Wednesday evening July 16th Winfield firefighters traveled throughout the first due response area testing underground tanks and dry hydrants located at streams and ponds. This is a task Winfield Community Volunteer Fire Department performs throughout the year making sure water supply sources in the rural part of the district are in service and ready for use at any time.
