Winfield member, Stacie Jaret, holds Fire Prevention Ambassador workshop

Winfield member and current MSFA Miss Fire Prevention, Stacie Jaret, held a workshop for the candidates for this year's State Fire Prevention Ambassador contest. The workshop was held on Saturday, May 11th at the Sykesville Fire Department. Twelve of the candidates along with several other queens attended the workshop.
Several speakers gave presentations; Bruce Bouch (Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office), Debbie Gartrell-Kemp (Fire and Burn Safety Coalition of Maryland), and Teresa Ann Crisman (Past President, Ladies Auxiliary Maryland State Fireman's Association). In addition Stacie gave a presentation on the expectations of the state queen and what to expect in regards to the upcoming year for the candidates.
Stacie will be passing her title on next month at the State Fireman's Convention. Stacie was Miss Winfield and Miss Carroll County Fire Prevention before winning the State title last June. She has done a great job promoting fire prevention around the state over the last year.
